My friends Em and Mark have launched BICI planning. BICI stands for Bicycle Infrastructure Change and Innovations--Inc and is offering their services as bicycle planning consultants.
“We started BICI because we saw it as a logical extension of the work we did at the grassroots, community level, and the success we had empowering more people to ride bicycles,” co-founder Mark Simpson says. “Now that public institutions are recognizing the increased number of everyday-cyclists, we hope to lead them as they attempt to achieve institutional sustainability goals, and accommodate the needs of their cycling constituencies.”
