Lance’s Early Morning Visitor

I can’t remember the last time I was up at 6:30am. Could you imagine being woke up by the anti-doping drug testing committee? Sheeesh.

He had a story in one of his books about being interrupted by doping control testers while he was rushing his pregnant wife to the hospital when labor started. I think. Either that, or it was some other pregnancy emergency. And they just knocked and were like, “Random control.” He wrote about being super pissed about how rude and intrusive they were… which I would really sympathize with, except I find it hard to ever believe anything he says, ever. He’s kind of silvertongued, you know?

Anyway it was an interesting story, but I’m being halfassed in my storytelling because I can’t remember all the details and I don’t know what book it was in. Sorry.
