Emiliano went on the Ride in the Park with Eddy Merckx today and got the cannibal to sign his 7-11. The rain didn't stop people from heading out and meeting with Eddy. Looks like fun! Bummed I missed out.
If you missed today's event, tomorrow Eddy will be at Strictly Bicycles from 12:00 - 1:30 signing autographs. Just 5 blocks north of the GW bridge on Hudson Terrace. If you're heading out to the Hills Hurt race, you'll be really close-by.

now the question is what to do to protect the autograph. tape? one of those protective films? clear coat? or just ride it? (i'm leaning towards the last option).

I have a 1986 Corsa Extra that Eddy autographed back in 1996 when he was in Rome, GA at a charity ride preceding the Atlanta Olympics. It was signed using a Sharpie, and the signature is still there but a bit worn. I rode the bike for a few years after that but now it is stored safely inside.
