Bridging the Gap Vol.1 from Joseph Lobato on Vimeo.
Joe from Take Over LA has a new series of bike-themed edits in the works called Bridging the Gap. These short videos showcase bikes in a new light. This first video features Hernan Montenegro packing his BMX into his Incase Skate Messenger Bag and riding to some dirt jumps on his track bike. Top-notch production and editing and a seriously refreshing subject matter.
Great job Joe. Even though I already told you that in person.
A special thanks to everyone in LA who made my visit a great one. Can't wait to see the videos and photos. You guys make me wanna come back to LA more often.

This was pretty cool. Nice film and awesome that he packed up the BMX. I'm way to lazy to ever do something like that.

That's how it goes! Track for commuting, BMX for tricks. ;O)

Big fucking deal, I've done this for the last 6 years. Been riding fixed 6 years, riding bmx for 13. This is a good way to go from boston to cambridge, kensington to FDR, mid-town to the brooklyn banks. Didn't see anyone behind me filming. HA!
