Ted's a natural. A natural cyclist and a natural framebuilder. He's the brain and brawn behind the 14 Bike Co ESB and various other projects. Even though he lost the key to my ulock and subsequently sawed it off this weekend, I still love the guy. In fact, expect a little interview I made with him to be posted tomorrow.
Jonathan Winstone captured a great portrait of Ted welding the track ends onto an ESB moments before the photographer burned his hand picking up a scolding hot axle. Read his full account here, at his Tumblr.
Ted, we have your jacket and your camera here in Brooklyn. Hit us up!

Your lock is probably still sitting in two pieces on the welding table at BMW. I'll melt the thing back together when I get back, boom, good as new.
