NYC Bike Messengers

Messengers from NFGTV on Vimeo.

A production company called NFGTV made a short edit called “Messengers” featuring a lot of familiar faces in the NYC Bike Messenger scene. It’s a little confusing as to what the intent of this is because most of the traffic cuts are from Empire‘s two trailers.

Anyone have any information on this? Other than Gothamist?

I noticed the clip of you at the end, and also that most of the shots are from the older trailers (like you said). Do you think the clip of Wonka riding on the sidewalk for a couple hundred feet warrants comment?

Only if you’re an uptight person. Kids skateboard on sidewalks all the time.

I think it’s very different. For the record.

    “13 to 14 Hundred dollars a week”?!?!?!

When was this little ditty recorded?…1996.

  • Wepass

If you’re riding like that you’re kind of asking for a ghost bike w/ your name on it. Nothing to glorify. (I’m not saying that’s the intent of the edit but… what is the intent?) Guess I’m uptight.

yo can you take this shit down?

  • http://blog.cyclosity.com Liam

    Got it off vimeo. Why?

  • Skamp

Yo, the only way anyone makes 1400 a week on a bike is if they’re delivering something else on the side. No harm in it, but no need to advertise false hopes.
