I know I’ll cause a lot of controversy saying this……But BMX tops fixed gear freestlye in every way, shape, and form.

There’s no controversy, that’s a known thing. People who ride FGFS don’t compare it to BMX, they’re two different entities.

I was unaware of this.  Regardless, I really enjoy the BMX videos, please keep posting them!

Dude what about trial bikes?  How does Danny Macaskill not beat BMX?  Though you could argue trial bikes are “big BMX”  There are so many bikes, a man could only hope to be lucky enough to try them all.

Furthermore, FGFS is building on tradition, (really old tradition:
          http://fixedgearbikes.blogspot.com/2011/11/daring-feats-of-trick-rider.html )
That tradition is not only being kept alive but enriched as well.  It has been very interesting to see the incorporation of BMX parts to track bikes as well as geometry modifications that have developed in the last decade.  Just don’t write off FGFS too fast man, there’s a lot to love.

That bowl in Austin just ensured that we are going to see bigger and stylier bowl lines in BMX for years to come.
