Online Registration: http://904fixed.com/event-registrationHELLCAT ALLEYCAT 2 is the second year of Northeast Florida’s infamous summer fixed gear alleycat race taking place in Jacksonville, FL. With the race set up in the unforgiving heat of summer, your demons are bound to catch up with you. You will cross bridges, you will drip sweat, and you will race until it burns. This will be just like the first years race, a fixed only checkpoint-to-checkpoint style alleycat. No manifests, no signatures, no tasks…. just strictly racing to your next checkpoint. Accompanying the race is the special screening of FIXATION, a fixed gear documentary. Watch the trailer here: http://vimeo.com/22814327. Also following the race are a few side events (track stand competition, skid contests, etc.).

This year we are doing it big, expect nothing less. Trust us, we sold our souls for this one.

A few details on the race:
+ Fixed gear-specific event
+ Unsanctioned checkpoint to checkpoint based race (roughly 15-25 miles)
+ Each checkpoint will be revealed at the arrival of the previous checkpoint (maps will be handed out @ each checkpoint)
+ There will be 1st place, 2nd place, 3rd place, 1st place womans, 1st place out of town, and DFL (Dead Fucking Last) prizes
+ Speed, endurance, and route planning/street smarts will all be needed to win this race
+ Race registration fee includes race entry, 1″ Hellcat button (while supplies last), Hellcat spokecard (online registration only), afterparty entry, and film entry

REQUIRED TO RACE:

      Look Matteo,

I’ve already explained that 904 Fixed did not design this flyer. We had a graphic designer named Waxfang (www.waxfang.net) make it.

I had never seen the Milano flyer before and if I had, I could have caught this earlier, but at this point it’s too late.

But for my final word on this subject, it’s a damn bike race,
not a presidential election campaign. Calm yourself and quit trying to take shots at every site this race shows up on.

It sure is a perfect copy Matteo. In fact, it’s a perfect copy of the original flyer which was made by the designer in 2010. The flyer you posted is actually taken from Waxfang’s original 2010 design made for a PBR bike ride that never happened. I suggest you get your facts straight before pointing fingers because as it turns out, the Milano flyer is actually the one with the stolen image. Nothing wrong with a designer reusing his own image if he wants to. Attached is a screen shot with a date stamp of the original design. CASE CLOSED!
