Giro: High Viz Models for Fall 2012

Now that’s what I’m talking about. If you’re going to do high visibility, go with a product(s) people will wear. For Fall 2012, Giro announced new high visibility models in their popular road and dirt shoes, along with the classic cycling shoe, the Empire. See all the models at Giro.

I love the Taylor Phinney lace up ones.

This is stupid, wouldn’t it be cheaper and more profitable to just create high-vis “aero-skins” for their shoes?  Better yet, why don’t they just produce DVS Rico CT x Cadence shoes.

      no.

      do you mean aero booties?

Speaking of Giro products, we need to talk about gloves.  Currently, I have the Giro LX 2012 gloves, best gloves I have ever worn, but there are improvements that need to be made.  First, these gloves have a big “hole” on top when the closure strap is in place.  In my opinion this doesn’t look good, the “hole” needs to be made smaller.  Second, there should be a duo-tone color one with black on top and red on bottom, it’ll take some skills to get the look right, but I’m sure Giro can do it.  Also, a duo-tone color one with semi-dark-grey on top and burgundy/purple on bottom would be nice too.  I know what you’re thinking John, COLLAB!!!! If this happens I want a free pair…….and royalties.

..also, picture your viking logo on the pull tab on the bottom of the glove, yeeeaaah baby!!

id bet money that one of the uci teams is making a color switch…

Really dig the black and high viz color scheme.

a high-viz privateer would be a nice addition to this selection.
