All-City: Introducing the Macho Man Disc

MachoMan

Jeff from All-City has been rambling on and on and on and on and on about how much he loves his new Macho Man Disc. You know what? I totally agree. It’s a good looking bike and everyone’s been really stoked on it. Even the Frost Bike reception was very positive. If you want to read Mr. Frane’s thoughts on it, head to the All-City Blog.

Bottom line: MSRP for the frame is $625, with the complete coming in at $1795.

Reminds me of the Croix De Fer.

My first thought was “DAMN! I wish I’d have waited and got this frame rather than my Macho Man”, but then I remembered how insanely heavy and miserable to ride those Croix De Fers are.
Steel + gears + disc brakes ain’t a good combo

My IF is steel and it had gears and discs and 2.5″ tires and it’s 20lbs.

Pretty.  Though, for some reason I am just not drawn to disc brakes in the slightest.

      I don’t like them on drop-bar bikes either…
