Scott at Porcelain Rocket just uploaded photos of his newest frame bag project. It just so happens to be going on his own AM Peirce 29+ MTB. With all the hoopla surrounding the 3″ platform, I can’t wait to see what’s going to be at NAHBS later this month! Check out more of Scott’s work at the Porcelain Rocket Flickr.
Also, I can’t wait to see what’s going on that saddle bag support…
I’m so stoked for YNOT. I’ve watched this company grow over the years and I’m so happy to see them open a brick and mortar in Toronto.
“We are really excited to announce the Grand Opening of our official Toronto Flagship Store!
Situated just east of Trinity Bellwoods in the Arts & Design district of Queen West, the YNOT Store showcases our full line of tried and true messenger bags, backpacks, and iconic pedal straps. Be sure to check the YNOT Custom Build Bar, where you can customize staple YNOT bags or accessories. With integrated sewing machines onsite, professional YNOT bag makers will create these one-of-a-kind products right on the spot, just for you. Then, On February 21st we threw a big party to celebrate! We had a full house, and the machines at our custom build bar were going full tilt churning or custom YNOT cozys for everybody’s beers & mason jars!
We are super thankful for the awesome and supportive community we have here in our hometown of Toronto! This city has a wonderful bike scene full of amazing people, and we’re proud to be a part of it. The turnout made us feel super loved! Thanks Toronto!”
This is by no means the first time a sneaker and bicycle company have worked together on a project, although I do think this capsule collection looks cohesive and clean. Bombtrack was approached by Adidas to design and produce 50 track bikes to coincide with the forthcoming Adidas Street Crew bag line.
These bikes can only be seen in a selected 32 Adidas Flagship Stores throughout Europe and Asia.

… Bike packing is going to blow up even more this summer. I’m already stoked on a trip Pearl Velo, Golden Saddle Cyclery and myself will be doing. So stoked that it’s got me thinking about some Porcelain Rocket bags.
Chrome taps into the touring portage market with four new bags in their new Knurled Welded line: the Urban EX Rolltop 18, Excursion Rolltop 37, the Saddle Bag Rolltop 20 and the Front Rack Duffle 40. Here’s the lowdown:
“Chrome created Knurled Welded™ Waterproof Rolltops for bike camping, adventure biking, and all weather commuting – when weight matters and getting wet is not an option. Knurled Welded™ Rolltops are made with our proprietary welding technology that combines RF welding with a mechanical interlock to create the toughest, lightest 100% waterproof bags. Each bag has a watertight rolltop closure for submersible water protection, a Hypalon® Molle loop system for expandability, and five-bar webbing haul straps for hand carrying. Go Farther. Stay Dryer. Guaranteed for Life.
The Knurled Welded line consists of Saddle Bag and Front Rack Duffle Rolltop. Knurled Welded Rolldtop Duffle and Saddle Bag Rolltop work on the bike and off. Both bags leave the hardware on the bike where it should be. The Result is a saddle bag and front rack duffle you can carry around.”

Those are two pieces I’d love to have but I’d just hang the bars on my wall. Defgrip interviewed Caesy Oney from Draught Dry Goods and I found it to be a great read. Mostly because I’ve never even heard of his brand before. Seriously though, that duffel!

Chrome’s popular Reflective Camo line has just been updated:
“Our second issue of Reflective Camo is an updated version of how Chrome does camo. For this edition, we found a Swedish M90 geometric camo, and overlaid a rain camo print with a special glass bead finish, which reflects light from up to 100 feet. During the day, these bags appear as Swedish geometric “M90” camo and at night the appearance in light is a reflective rain camo. Developed in limited quantities, the Victor, Citizen and Barrage are available in our versatile Chrome Reflective Camo 2nd Issue. Made in USA. Guaranteed for Life. Deceptively safe.”

Acre, a subdivision of Mission Workshop, went on a maiden journey earlier this year. This journey took photographer Dan Barham along, to shoot the Swiss and French Alps, test out the gear as well as his own abilities as a rider and a photographer. In short, to Wander. You can read, view and watch the journey unfold as part of the Acre journal now.

Hey, ten years is a big deal for a company. Period. So Cadence is continuing to celebrate their anniversary with more Decade goods. See the full line here.
Jacob has exceptional taste because this custom Freight rolltop backpack came out great. I love the Archive waxed cell holster too!
