Anytime I see a photo of Hufnagel, I gotta give it some love. Especially when it’s from the lens of Brenton Salo. Great photo man! Everyone’s following West America’s Tumblr, right?

One of the people I’ve gotten to know over the past year is Aaron Edge. We met via bikes, through my travels to LA, which eventually brought us out on rides and talks of music. Last year, Aaron moved to Portland and shortly after, he was diagnosed with MS.
Now, Aaron is coping with one of the most crushing diseases but has found strength through Further Faster Forever. Head over and check it out, particularly this article. Aaron, best of health my friend.
See more of Brenton’s photos of Aaron on his lovely Milani road bike in the Portland hills here.

Around the time that I was shopping for my M7, Brenton was looking at the Leica R6.2 SLR. Those cameras are bomb-proof work horses and Brenton’s recent exposures are doing it justice. He posted this up on his Tumblr last night and I had to share. It’s like some modern day rendition of some hardened stage racer smoking on a mountain pass.
Digging the TCB Rack as well!

Before this blog takes a nose dive into NAHBS, I wanted to share this portrait of Machew that Brenton Salo took on a sunny afternoon in Portland. Loving the tones here.

Like all of Brenton’s photography, this shot of Devin hopping to wheelie over a short ledge came out so sick.

Between Damian and Brenton, I feel like I know the bike messengers in Portland. I’m loving the latest portrait of Sharky waiting on a delivery.

I like it when these two get together, even if it’s only for a quick photo. Damian‘s Milholland never gets old. Great photo, Brenton.
Last weekend, Chrome threw a circuit race in an empty office floor above their PDX store. It looked amazing but unfortunately, I couldn’t make it out to Portland again this month. So when Brenton Salo said he was going to be shooting it, I reached out to him to get some photos. He was stoked on his TL-200 Contax flash for his G2 and fired away all night.
Check out some selects in the Gallery.

The blues of this Cannondale track bike really compliment the Autumn vibes in the photo. Brenton, once again with the superb composition. Love this man.
