Crihs‘ Mission Bay Crit was a huge success in SF and Mike Martin from MASH headed out to capture the night. I love low-light, moody photography like this. I’m stoked to hear this event went off smoothly and can’t wait to see more of these go down in SF.

Check out the official race report at MASH.

Jake Ricker: Crihs at CMWC Track Day

If this photo looks strange to you, it’s because Crihs is going against the number one rule of track cycling: let the people in front do all the work. Dude, what are you doing!? Whatever got intio Crihs’ head worked for him that day, as he landed on the podium for a few events. See more of Jake’s photos here, at his Flickr.

Full Frame Collective: Chas and Crihs on Douglass St.

Back when Chas had hair and Crihs wasn’t fat, they hit up Douglass St. with the Full Frame Collective and Werehaus guys. Terry got this shot of Chas, getting so pitted and it just makes me smile. For more entertainment, hit up the video from Douglass St. below.

Recent Roll: Best Prank Ever

Remember the story about how Crihs stole my Icarus track bike after a killer party at the Messenger Mansion (more on that tomorrow) and sent me an Instagram ransom? If you don’t brush up on it here. So imagine my surprise when I just got a bunch of film back from SF and found this on one of the rolls. Amazing. Crihs, you really out did yourself here buddy.

SF #RideNStyle Weekend Randomness 01

SF Randomness

Yes, it’s that time again. Randomness from the streets of SF in preparation for the 2012 Red Bull RideNStyle. Today I met up with Crihs, Marc, Em and Chas over in the Mission and rolled over to Mash to see Mike and Walton. It was unbelievably warm out and for the first time, I finally had a track bike in San Francisco. It’s been fun so far and here’s a photo dump to hold you over for a bit!

Full Frame Collective: Personal Series – Crihs Thormann

Photos by Dylan Bigby

I know I’ve been cropping portrait-orientation photos here on the site but these two photos are too good to put on another page. Crihs was in SF this winter, escaping the NYC cold and having a blast riding the hills of the city. Full Frame Collective did a great Personal Series on him while he was there and it’s definitely worth your time to check it out. They also touch on why Crihs spells his name like that… Head to FFC for the scoop!
