Fyxation: Quiver Frameset Now Available

Screen shot 2013-05-30 at 8.01.59 PM

When it really comes down to it, the way bicycles are characterized or described is a matter of a few degrees and centimeters. Finding that middle ground as far as angles, clearances and other key measurements isn’t easy. The Fyxation Quiver tries on the “jack of all trades, master of none” hat for size. Now, don’t read that as negative commentary, because you’d be surprised how similar the bikes in your own personal quiver are… Removable derailleur, cable stops and other design details make this a contender for the all-rounder market.

It should be “Full Backwards Circle”.

Ride whatever you want, when and how you want to. I think that’s the moral of the story here. Thanks to FYXO for the impromptu photo shoot. Check out more words and photos at FYXO.  Oh and to the assholes who stole my bag in SF, die. I’m going to miss those jeans and that t-shirt.

Recent Roll: My Sword is Jamming

Sometimes, the simplest changes in a bike’s setup can really enhance the ride. Take my Sword. Sure, it looked mean as hell with drops but I swapped them out for those Budnitz Ti sweep bars and plugged on a Cetma rack. It’s the perfect photo bike, with the aid of the Tanner Goods Field Camera Bag… Check out a few more photos below.

Wheel Talk: 2013 Red Bull Ride + Style

Matt Reyes and the Wheel Talk guys always provide the best in video coverage. Here’s their recap from the 2013 Red Bull Ride + Style:

“With the help of Zane Meyer and Omar Sebai I was able to chop together this highlight reel of the 2013 Red Bull Ride & Style. A lot of shit went down in San Francisco last weekend, and this is just a taste of it. I’ve been posting so much about this event that at this point I don’t even know what to say. I’m going to stop talking and let the video speak for itself. Enjoy.”
