I love riding in California and today was my first time riding in Golden Gate Park. I crashed with Chas last night and this morning, we headed out to Trouble coffee for some of their excellent coffee and toast. There’s nothing like the #lightbro in early SF mornings.
This will be the first year where I won’t be in attendance at the Mash anniversary race. I’m sure Mike and the crew will have more information coming along for the three-year anniversary race on May 5th, but for now, this is all I’ve got.
You’ll just have to sit on their blog til then.

Kevin Mihovich wanted his Cinelli Mash track bike to stand out from the rest by being hidden. Does that make sense? So he commissioned West Coast Hydrographix in Redwood City, CA to cover his bike in real tree camo. Then, he enlisted the help of his friend Arthur Alvarez to do a photoshoot in the woods. Pretty clever. Check out more below!
I’m just as bad about buying coffee mugs as I am about buying water bottles and these new Mash Cutty Cross mugs ain’t making it any easier to resist the temptation. Pick one up here at Mash. Be sure to order the kit with the Bicycle Coffee!
ILE has been working hard on designing this new Transfer Bag, their race-day bag. It’s specially designed to take your kit, shoes, helmet and anything else you need for the track, cross or crit race. Get the scoop on one at MASH.
Mike posted up some great photos of a Histogram build over at the Mash blog. Head on over and check the rest out.
This is the most legit race in Vegas and it has been since its first year. Who else would throw a drag race in Vegas other than Mash?
Mike Martin is a very busy guy. When he’s not at the Mash SF storefront, he’s planning an event, working on his clothing line Martin or out shooting video. That doesn’t leave a lot of time for his other passion: photography. It’s not everyday that you see photos from Mike, so when he showcases inspirational photos like these, I had to reach out to him.
Garrett Chow’s work that comes out of his studio in the Specialized facilities is always far from ordinary and his new Custom Specialized Carbon Crux CX is a perfect example of his craftsmanship. Many thanks to Mike for the high res photos. Check them out below!

Mash just upped a bunch of RAD and FREE wallpapers over at their site. Head over to download some. Crossie freestyle is coming up in 2012!
The theme this week is unobtainable products. Don’t miss out on yet another run of the Mash kits. Swoop them here while you still can!
