Having spent 48 hours with Mike Cherney on a bicycle, during Brovet #03, I can say without a doubt that he is one of the most unique individuals I’ve ever met and I mean that in the best way possible.
Mike is a true craftsman, so much so that Moots recently commissioned him to fabricate eight sterling silver headbadges. Each badge is made from 1 troy ounce of Sterling Silver.
The badges are now for sale at Moots, for $300 USD or you can read up on the process Mike used at the Moots Blog!

I don’t know how I missed out on this one and I don’t know why I’ve yet to visit the Pedaler’s Fork but that’ll soon change hopefully! While this build photo isn’t the same as the bike in the video, I couldn’t help myself from posting it. Something tells me I’ve got fat bike fever… Check out more here!
The fact that the crew at Moots plans on actually putting this beast to work merits its own post. With attachments for a shovel, a chainsaw rack, 6 pack rack and plenty of packing room, this fat bike is meant to maintain the trails surrounding the Moots facility. It’s gimmicky as hell but man, what a presentation!
It’s not often I get a Reader’s Rides email with a bike like this attached. Jerry’s new Moots Vamoots CR is drop dead gorgeous but it’s very easy to take shit photos of a great bike. The colors, tones and composition of these photos are top notch. Jerry ordered the frame from Montano Velo and went with Campagnolo Record for the group. Stunning!
