The new Outlier Freeshell is already almost sold out so I won’t bother with a bunch of copy. Instead, I’ll just post the one jumping photo and call it a day. But, I did say almost sold out… There are still a few sizes left.

These are so rad that they sold out in minutes. I love that Outlier is branching out into the everyday accessories. This is something straight out of a Moebius illustration.
Having been friends with Abe and Tyler since the very first prototype Outlier pants, I can say that I’m extremely proud of their accomplishments. Here’s Abe talking at the recent PSFK Conference in NYC:
“In this talk from PSFK CONFERENCE NYC, Abe Burmeister explains how a punk-rock ethic helped him create a business building a new niche in a market he had no experience in. Abe just wanted a pair of pants he could both ride his bike and go to work in – and all his partner Tyler needed was a shirt that stayed fresh despite his pedal-powered commute. The Outlier co-founder describes how the duo paired intensive research in New York’s garment district with the connectivity of the web to create Outlier – a performance fashion business that only sells over the web.”

I love my Three Way Shorts from Outlier but these new Summer Shorts are the jam, especially in the new colors, Day Blue and Seapunk Green. I had to post these, just based on the second pair’s name. Both the Three Way and Summer Shorts come in these two new bright colors. Stay classy guys and scoop these up if you need some color in your life. They ship soon.

Spending $144 on a dress shirt is not unheard of, especially for one that’s made in NYC and is cut to allow for more flexibility while riding a bike. Outlier‘s shirts are my absolute favorites and for the price of the new Blazed Cotton Pivot Shirt, you can’t get a better product. Check out more below.
The guys at Outlier have come a long way from their original workwear pants. Growth, both in a product line and prowess is a sign of a successful business and each time I return to NYC, I’m amazed at how much they’re expanding. They now have an in-house prototyping studio, as well as numerous new employees, all aiding in their slow and steady conquest of cycling-friendly dresswear. I spent the afternoon with Tyler and Abe last week and shot some simple photos of their well-lit studio in Brooklyn.

I really, truly miss my NYC family but it’s great to see various brands continue to grow each time I’m back in town. While I was in the Outlier offices last week, I shot some photos of their new The Outlier Feit Supermarines 2012 Edition. These sneakers may not be for everyone, or everyone’s budget but as history proves, they’ll sell out faster than your RSS reader will pick up on this post. They presale now for $290. Check out a gallery and a press release below.

I woke up Sunday absolutely wrecked. One of the hardest things about coming to events like the RHC are all the hours spend partying until 4am. After I pulled myself together, I met up with Chas and we rolled to get some food, then over to Outlier. Chas has decided to give up food delivery for modeling and since he’s #fixiefamous, I think it’ll work out great. From there, we headed to Affinity where we were greeted by the DOSNOVENTA bicycle team from Barcelona. Sure enough Clary hopped on their carbon and aluminum bikes and put on a show. It’s crazy how fast a day can go by when you spend it fucking around in the street on expensive track bikes… Don’t forget to check out the “previously” links below if you haven’t already.

As always, the Outlier crew delivers. This time with a new and improved hoodie:
The Liberated Wool Hoodie marks our latest Experiemental Edition, combining the Liberated Wool fabric from our lauded Peacoat with our Classic Hoodie pattern to create a revolutionary 2.5 layer wool softshell that is both breathable and warm.
A beautiful yarn-dyed worsted wool outer face, soft fleece interior and four way stretch come together for a remarkably light and virtually weatherproof jacket to keep you moving in comfort and style.
The Liberated Wool Hoodie has your head covered with a three panel drawstring hood and hidden cord pulls. Nylon/merino cuffs won’t slip and the raglan sleeves make for ease of movement. Nanosphere® treatment shrugs off light rain and spills while the polyurethane membrane and fleece interior keep you comfortable in a wide range of temperatures.
