I’ve made it half way through this and had to share it. Victoria Pendleton is the definition of a dedicated spokeswoman for cycling. Period. Professional cycling needs more of this and less of Oprah Winfrey. Thanks for sharing Tracko!
Track racing videos are always a thrill to watch:
“Just a few fun shots from the 2012 Track National Championships in Carson, CA. Includes Friday night racing of Team Pursuit, Women Kierin, Men Sprint, and PARA Men and Women Individual Pursuit.
Posted near Halloween, so obvious use of Misfits song.”

I just caught this over on the Affinity blog and had to give it some love. Kimberly Edwards won the UCI Masters Track Cycling World Championships scratch and match race medals on her XS Kissena. So rad!

Anytime I put up a post about a poster or an illustrator, a reader always recants with another. It’s like a viscous cycle (literally). It’s not often however that I see one that I like. Leo Espinosa‘s work is the exception though. This piece, along with others on his portfolio site are great. See for yourself.

Track racing is a contact sport. A contact sport at 35+ mph and Greg captures that perfectly here. Great shot man!

I just checked out Kelli’s article in Fixed Mag 12 and I gotta say, it’s pretty great. Jen and Ace‘s photos, Kyle‘s interview, her Affinity Kissena and Kelli doing her thing is worth the check out. Pick up a digi copy at Fixed Mag!

If this photo looks strange to you, it’s because Crihs is going against the number one rule of track cycling: let the people in front do all the work. Dude, what are you doing!? Whatever got intio Crihs’ head worked for him that day, as he landed on the podium for a few events. See more of Jake’s photos here, at his Flickr.
